During my dentist visit, I was seen by hygienist Janessa. I was pleasantly surprised by her mannerism, she was nice, polite and very professional. But most of all I liked that she explained everything to me and had answers to all my questions.

I was feeling like my head was going to explode 🤯 my tooth was hurting so much but the wonderful team at dentist of Pasadena took really good care of me from the wonderful receptionist to the amazing dentist thank you for taking such go care of me and for any body looking for a dentist look no further

Having moved from out of state, finding new doctors and dentists who are also preferred providers can be overwhelming. You read a ton of reviews then make a choice and hope for the best. We'll I batted 1000 when I selected Dentists of Pasadena on Lake. After having a complete set of xrays I met with Dr Galstyan aka Dr Martin who reviewed them with me. He confirmed what I already knew from both the dentist I went to for 40 years back east plus the one I went to after he retired and that was I needed to have one tooth extracted and another one that needed a crown. He had one of his staff inform me what my out of pocket after insurance would be for each procedure and said I could decide when to do each but advised the extraction needed to be done first. The procedure is a rather big deal and is usually followed by an implant but because it was the very back tooth if I was fine without an implant he said that would be ok. He was leaving that up to me. I really appreciated that I could chose my own timeline and whether or not i wanted the implant based on what was best for me financially and not insisting I also do the implant. He is also very warm and friendly and put me at ease immediately. Angela was the hygienist who did my cleaning and she too was great. She was extremely thorough and gave me an excellent cleaning. As I have receding gums and don't like using an electric toothbrush, she recommended a toothbrush that you need to buy on line that would be a much better alternative than toothbrushes you can buy at the drugstore to really get my gums and roots clean. I was extremely happy with Angela and appreciated the time she took to point out the specific cleaning needs for my teeth. Last but not least are the terrific ladies at the front desk. They are super welcoming and very knowledgeable and can answer any insurance questions you might have. I really can't praise this practice enough and know I am in the best possible care I could want from them. Since posting the above review, Angela, my previous hygienist, is no lonnger with the practice, so I was switched to Janessa who is my husband's hygienist and as of today is now mine. He has always had only positive things to say about her, and I can see why. She has a wonderful personality that will instantly put you at ease, and even more importantly, she has a great touch. I had a question about my mouth guard and she gave me some tips on the best way to clean it and what signs to look for when it might be time for a new one as mine is several years old. She offered to take a look at it at my next appointment or if I just wanted to stop by with it before then. I couldn't be happier with Janessa and highly recommend her and this terrific practice in general.
